Six Philly narcotics officers found not guilty in corruption case will get jobs back

Six Philadelphia narcotics officers face charges for allegedly stealing and extorting money, holding a suspect over an 18th-floor balcony, beating up others, and those are just the highlights. Thomas Liciardello, Brian Reynolds, Michael Spicer, Perry Betts, Linwood Norman and John Speiser were charged in July 2014 after a 2-year FBI investigation and faced life in prison if convicted. All six were found not guilty of the 47 charges. They’ll get their jobs back and will receive $90,000 in back pay.
