Civil War Weekend at Fort Mifflin

Right next to the PHL airport is a historic fort originally commissioned in 1771. It was captured by the British during the Revolutionary War, and played an even bigger role during the Civil War, when it was used to house prisoners. This weekend, reenactors will be setting up a Civil War encampment and hosting demos of hearth cooking and old-timey weapons. Tickets are available for both Saturday and Sunday.

Where: Fort Mifflin at 82 Fort Mifflin Road

When: July 18, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

How much: $10
