50th anniversary celebration of MLK 1965 Freedom Now March

Fifty years ago, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. held a Freedom Now rally in West Philly that drew a crowd of 10,000 listeners. HUB Coalition is hosting a mini-march to celebrate the anniversary. Things start at 34th and Haverford around 10 and end up at 40th and Haverford around 11 for songs and speeches.

Where: James Wright Recreation Center at 40th St. & Haverford Ave.

When: August 15, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
