Dr. Ruth talks about surviving the Nazis and becoming a sex expert

If you grew up in the '80s or '90s, Dr. Ruth was a household name. Later on, maybe not so much — the prominent bespectacled sex author kind of faded from the scene. But she's out with a new book this year, and in Philly to talk about everything from fleeing Nazi Germany to teaching about fornication around the world. Doors open at 5:15; tickets required.

Where: National Museum of American Jewish History at 101 S. Independence Mall East

When: November 16, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.

How much: $25 (or $18 for NMAJH members)
