Hear Mayor Nutter read the 13th Amendment (the one that abolished slavery)
December 6 marks 150 years since the United States came to its senses and officially abolished slavery by ratifying the 13th Amendment to the Constitution. Mayor Nutter will perform a public reading of the document at 2 PM as part of an afternoon of activities.
