Pulitzer Prize-winning author Elizabeth Kolbert will be honored with a medal, and afterwards she'll discuss her book "The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History," which argues that we're currently experiencing the biggest extinction event since the asteroid that took out the dinosaurs.
