Recycle your Christmas tree

If you've been hanging on to your fir — either because you're not ready to accept the holidays are over or because you didn't want to toss it in with the trash — today's the day to drop it off. The city is accepting trees for recycling at nearly two dozen locations, and civic associations are accepting at additional spots.

When: January 7, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
