Drink local stouts instead of Guinness

Yes, St. Patrick's Day is coming. No, you don't have to be Irish to enjoy it — nor do you have to drink stouts from Ireland. For the 9th year running, this Fishtown tavern will host a special brunch featuring a wide array of locally brewed stouts on tap, including beers from Victory, 2SP, River Horse, Vault, Carton, Brewery Techne and Manayunk. Pair the smooth dark pours with dishes like haggis, full Irish Breakfasts, oysters and potato "farl" aka the best potato bread you've ever tried.

Where: Johnny Brenda's at 1201 Frankford Ave. 19125

When: March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. to March 12, 2017 at 3:30 p.m.

How much: Pay as you go
