Outdoor jazz to celebrate the reopening of a Northeast parklet

Sorry cars, the street in front of the Tacony Library and Arts Building has been reclaimed for family fun. The mini park that replaced the parking spot relaunches with a live "gypsy jazz" performance, a solar art workshop, t-shirt giveaways, refreshments and the chance to help paint a giant banner with resident artist Mat Tomezsko.

Where: The Tacony LAB at 6918 Torresdale Ave. 19135

When: April 29, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

How much: Free
