Toast a live goat race with beer

For the 17th year, Sly Fox's play-on-words beer festival is back. Drink maibock and other bock beers — a style of strong, malty lager brewed in the fall and traditionally enjoyed in spring — while watching 60 goats compete in a family-friendly race (bock = goat in German). Brats, pretzels, pizza and veggie sandwiches will be sold in the tasting room, and food trucks like Weckerly's and Cow and the Curd will be on site for the party, which goes on rain or shine.

Where: Sly Fox Brewing Co. at 331 Circle of Progress Dr., Pottstown 19464

When: May 7, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

How much: Pay as you go
