Californian John Elliott writes gripping stream-of-consciousness songs that often take unexpected turns en route to delivering a powerful message. Georgian Kelly McFarling plays clawhammer banjo, guitar and pedal steel, among other acoustic instruments, and also sings. They'll both take the stage in West Philly at this show, their area debut.
