Katz’s pastrami makes a cameo in a limited edition Vetri pasta

Speaking of Vetri... Forgetting about its provenance and just judging it on its merits, any meat-loving Philadelphian would have to admit the pastrami at 125-year-old NYC icon Katz's is out of this world. Good news: This week, you don't have to go 90 miles north to get it. It's making an appearance in a limited-edition pasta at Amis on 13th Street — think carbonara with an extra bit of Jewish deli oomph. Available at dinner and brunch this Monday through next Sunday.

Where: Amis Trattoria at 412 S. 13th St. 19147

When: July 17, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. to July 23, 2017 at 10:00 p.m.

How much: $16
