Chef David Ansill pops up with a jerkfest in Kensington

Last we heard, chef David Ansill was having success with his underground "infused" dinner pop-ups, but this one is fully public (and not infused, to be clear). He'll be channeling his beloved Jamaica at this brewery tasting room with a menu that includes salt fish fritters, coconut shrimp, jerk chicken, curried goat and more. Live steel drums will add to the island vibes.

Where: Saint Benjamin's Taproom at 1710 N. 5th St. 19122

When: July 26, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

How much: There's a $50 prix-fixe option but you can also do a la carte
