Local dance powerhouse finally gets her own show

For more than two decades, modern dancer Melissa Rector has been a performer in Koresh Dance Company. But as assistant director to Roni Koresh, she doesn't usually get a chance to show off her own choreography. At a new show called "Side Effect," she will. This promises to be a night of dance that's raw and emotional, but also physically stunning and impressive. Choose from two showings Saturday night and one on Sunday.

Where: Koresh Dance Company at 2002 Rittenhouse Sq. 19103

When: August 5, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. to August 6, 2017 at 10:00 p.m.

How much: $15-$20
