Federal Donuts book release block party

Philly's favorite chicken and donut shop has a book coming out — Federal Donuts: The (Partially) True Spectacular Story — and it's throwing a big fall block party in celebration. Expect live music and DJs, a dunk tank (PPD Detective Joe Murray will reportedly be in there), face painting, caricatures, book signing. And of course tons of great food, including fried chix sandwiches, a Rooster Soup grill, Yards beer and a "Donut Wall," which has previously only been featured at private parties or in Miami ('bout time, thanks).

Where: Sansom Street at 1600 block

When: October 1, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

How much: Pay as you go
