Cleanup on the island between Fishtown and Jersey

Petty's Island, the privately-owned island between Fishtown and New Jersey, is undergoing a transformation into a State Park. Don't miss this opportunity to see the island and help in its transformation. Volunteers will be doing a cleanup of the shoreline where marine debris threatens the health of wildlife and humans, and will also be blazing a trail for use by schools and other visiting groups. Registration is required, as space is limited.

Where: Petty Island at 36th Street and Harrison Ave. Pennsauken Township, NJ

When: October 7, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
