A night of sliders to benefit Sheila Modglin

Dirty Franks bartender and founder of Sunshine Arts Center Sheila Modglin was nearly killed after a motorist slammed into her the night of the Eagles parade. The Modglin family is raising money to help pay for medical bills, and Sheila's many friends are kicking in with fundraisers like this one. Kevin Sweeney and Jordan Stalsworth of Amis will be cooking up sliders all night "in da cart" at Garage, and 100 percent of proceeds go to Sheila's recovery. There will also be raffles with prizes to raise money for the cause.

Where: Garage Passyunk at 1231 E. Passyunk Ave. 19147

When: February 21, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

How much: Pay as you go
