A music performance that makes you dinner

What if you hooked up a chopping block to an amplifier and turned it into a musical instrument? That's what restaurant co-owner Ben Miller has done, and he'll show off his culinary soundmaking at a series of performance dinners. He'll be joined by Shakoor Hakeem (percussion) and Vincent Arp (bass). Tickets are $40, including the show and the food. Email tasteandsound3@gmail.com for a spot. Also happening Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Where: El Compadre / South Philly Barbacoa at 1149 S. 9th St., 19148

When: April 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

How much: $40 per person
