How Philly mayoral candidates are faring on TikTok
At least half of Philadelphia’s mayoral contenders have launched TikTok accounts to promote their candidacy, and the results are… interesting.
- The platform can reach younger voters: a quarter of adults under 30 say they get news there. But it’s not easy, said strategist Annie Wu Henry, widely credited with crafting Fetterman’s successful social campaign.
BP’s Asha Prihar and Kira Wang looked at each candidate’s profile on the app, from Jeff Brown dancing in supermarket aisles to Derek Green’s dad vibes.
