Hittin’ Season cohosts
John Stolnis grew up in Delco as a rabid fan of all Philadelphia sports, but the Phillies have always held a special place in his heart. Using the internet for the reason it was intended, John began his own Phillies blog, The Felske Files, during the team’s glory run of 2007-2011 and has been blogging about the Phils ever since. He created the Hittin’ Season podcast at the start of the Phils’ rebuild in 2015, and has amassed hundreds of episodes in the process.
John also writes about the Eagles for SB Nation’s Bleeding Green Nation and hosts a weekly podcast Eye on the Enemy. He currently works in Washington, DC, as a full-time news producer and reporter, a large portion of his soul still remains obsessed with the Fightin’ Phils.
Liz Roscher has been a Phillies fan for as long as she can remember, despite moving from Havertown to Bangor, Maine at age 7. Her family raised her as a Philadelphian, and her first vivid Phillies memory is of Lenny Dykstra saying the F-word directly into the camera during the 1993 World Series.
Liz began writing about the Phillies in 2009 as a part time gig, and spent seven years as managing editor of Phillies blog The Good Phight.
She left the corporate world behind in 2016 to take a job at Yahoo Sports, and has been a full time sportswriter and podcaster ever since. She covers all sports at Yahoo, but baseball — especially the Phillies — remains her first love.
Justin Klugh has been a Phillies fan since Mariano Duncan’s Mother’s Day grand slam.
He is a columnist and features writer for Baseball Prospectus, and has written for The Inquirer, Baltimore Magazine, FanGraphs, and SB Nation’s The Good Phight. He’s been a contributor to the Baseball Prospectus Annual since 2018.
He is known in his family for jamming his pockets full of free hot dogs during an off-season tour of Veterans Stadium.
