UH, FOR FOUNTAIN SODA, KENNEY’S TAX IS EVEN HIGHER THAN WE THOUGHT
Crunching the numbers in Mayor Jim Kenney’s proposed soda tax show that fountain drinks would end up being taxed at around 4.5 cents an ounce, the Inquirer discovered. Yeah, that’s way higher than the 3 cents an ounce on bottled drinks that already had everybody freaking out.
