This afternoon, lawyers representing Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein will appear in federal court in Philadelphia to fight for a statewide presidential election recount. Stein and her supporters have filed a federal lawsuit in Pennsylvania claiming the state’s “national disgrace” of a voting system violates the constitutional rights of citizens. Though there's no evidence PA voting machines were hacked, her attorneys say they could have been -- some of the machines, according to her lawyer, "are easier to hack than an iPhone.” Here's a refresher of the lawsuit.

A new study out of Brandeis University suggests Penn isn't enrolling enough lower-income students and that socioeconomic diversity is severely lacking at Philly's Ivy League school. The survey found that seven out of 10 Penn students from the United States lived in zip codes in the top two quintiles of median income. Philly.com has more on the study.
