BILL COSBY IS IN COURT AGAIN TODAY
We could learn today when Bill Cosby will face a jury for the only count he faces of criminal sexual assault. Cosby’s due in a Norristown courtroom this afternoon. Per the AP, his lawyers will also push to keep key evidence out of the case, such as the prosecution’s smoking gun: Several days of testimony Cosby gave in his accuser’s civil lawsuit a decade ago. URSINUS COLLEGE BOT CHAIR UNDER FIRE FOR BAD TWEETS
Students at Ursinus College are up in arms about the tweets of the chairman of the board of trustees at the liberal arts institution. Michael Marcon has deleted the offending posts from his Twitter account — but not after posts described by a former member of the board as “elitist, racist, sexist (and) body-shaming.” Oh, and there were slams against President Obama and Caitlyn Jenner in there for good measure. Students want him to step down; so far, that hasn’t happened.
