JUDGE TO BILL COSBY: UM NO, YOU CAN’T SIT IN ON YOUR ACCUSER’S DEPOSITION
Bill Cosby will not be allowed to sit and listen to the depositions of his accuser Andrea Constand or former Montgomery County DA Risa Vetri Ferman. Yesterday’s ruling from a federal judge prevents Cosby from using testimony from the civil case to aid his defense in the criminal case against him. So does this move things forward? Time-wise, not really. Cosby’s trial doesn’t start until June. Catch up on the case here.
FARMER’S ALMANAC VS METEOROLOGISTS: THE PHILLY WINTER WEATHER THROWDOWN
Winter 2016-17 in Philly will be pretty mild. Or not. Or it’s too soon to tell. Can’t we just guzzle our pumpkin spice lattes in peace before all the snow talk begins? The National Weather Service says hold on a sec. This is how winter weather works and why predictions are all over the place.

Marvin McNutt. Bibbles Bawel. Dick Riffle. They’re some of the greatest sports names of all-time. During the bye week, Billy Penn decided to create an Eagles All-Name Team. That means we read through the names of every Eagle there ever was, dating all the way back to the 1930s, and created a first and second team of the best names of Eagles over the last 80 years. Here’s what we came up with. You are so very welcome.

PHILLY’S COMIC BOOK PODCAST HOSTS ARE ABOUT TO SHARE ORGANS
Adam Teterus and Octavious Newman are well known in Philly’s creative geek scene — from Newman’s lifestyle brand to Teterus’ tireless work for OG coworking space Indy Hall. And oh yeah. they cohost the Comic Book Junto podcast. Also, Teterus is about to give Newman a kidney. Newman’s are failing and Teterus happens to be a match, so the friends are going under the knife next week. Geekadelphia talked to the duo about comics and kidneys.
