KATHRYN KNOTT BEGINS HER DEFENSE WITH WITNESSES BLAMING VICTIMS
The trial of the Bucks County woman facing charges in the Center City gay attack continued Monday, with witnesses taking the stand in Kathryn Knott’s defense. And their stories conflicted. One said the victims escalated the conflict by acting aggressively. One mentioned on the stand something that wasn’t in his sworn statement to police. Another said she’d been hit in the jaw by one of the victims, and was treated by her dentist — but the pain could also have been a cavity, and no medical records exist of the injury. Meanwhile, the victims were hospitalized; one ended up with two broken cheekbones and a jaw that was wired shut. Here’s what else happened during Monday’s testimony.

Here’s how the weekend went down, from chance meetings in the lobby to Donald Trump’s headline-grabbing fund-raiser at the Plaza Hotel (of Home Alone 2 fame).

TALES OF RIDICULOUS TAILGATES AT EAGLES V. BILLS
Sunday’s home game against the Buffalo Bills had a vibe rarely seen in the latter months of the professional football season. So it was the perfect time to hop between parking lot parties in search of the hands-down best. Among the hidden treasures we found in the South Philly tailgate scenes: 4.5 liter bottles of vodka, freshly smoked beef brisket and photos of that time Jeff Lurie just casually decided to swing by a random tailgate put on by some die-hards from South Jersey. Here’s what we found.
