In 2009, the city signed a franchise agreement with Verizon that mandated it bring FiOS to the entire city (minus some exceptions) within seven years. Well, those seven years are up, so the Office of Innovation and Tech is looking into whether the company did what it promised — and it wants your help with feedback here.

A lot of talented Eagles have held out for new deals over the years, but none are as notable as Reggie White, who famously opted to sit out training camp and much of the pre-season in 1989. If this happened today, the world would end. But back then, interest in the NFL wasn’t as fevered — professional opinions were left mostly to the professionals, who sure had plenty to say.

The seventh annual edition of the beer cafe/bottle shop's outdoor fest offers $5 beers, live bands and lots of food, plus the whole thing is dog and kid friendly.

The People’s Emergency Center and CHOP's Homeless Health Initiative teamed up to provide canvas, paint and brushes to several homeless mothers, and now 60 of the works are on display. Refreshments served.
