We've been waiting three years for tonight, the day the Sixers land two picks in the top four. Yes, there is a chance the Sixers could win the NBA Draft Lottery — they won it last year, after all — and in doing so, they could push the Lakers out of the top 3, giving the Sixers LA's pick too. That, or the ping pong balls could bounce the wrong way, and the Sixers could end up with just the No. 6 pick, or almost anything in between. We looked at every possible scenario for the Sixers tonight, then took a look at what the Sixers have done historically with their lottery picks. Ten times they've had top-3 picks, including Embiid, Okafor and Simmons the last three seasons. Will this year see another top-3 pick? We find out tonight.
On Sunday night, Joe Cicala got a brutal reminder that cooking can be dangerous. The Le Virtu chef and Brigantessa co-owner was in the basement pantry working on a new recipe when his hand got sucked into a machine that makes sheets out of pasta dough. He couldn't get his fingers out, and all the bones were crushed. He howled in pain and tried to call for help, but no one could hear him. Thirty minutes later, paramedics arrived, and after some difficulty, were able to get him to the hospital where doctors reattached the broken limbs. He's ok now, but faces a long recovery.
There's two possibilities when you take a cheesesteak and try to fancy it up. 1) It becomes something totally different and way less enjoyable. 2) It uses grass-fed beef, local gouda, Sly Fox caramelized onions and Ba Le bakery rolls to become a truly idealized version of the street food, one that won't give you a stomachache after. Option No. 2 is back in da cart in South Philly — at a bar right in the center of Cheesesteak Vegas.

Being a crazy person, and because of the recent entry of SoulCycle in the market, our reporter Mark Dent decided to spin his way through the city in a week. That's four spin studios in five days, punctuated by a final stop at SoulCycle. And while Ciclo, Flywheel and Body Cycle all have good things to offer, it turns out SoulCycle is for wimps.
