EVEN RITTENHOUSE SQUARE ISN’T SAFE FROM STABBINGS
Murders occur unfortunately often in this city, but we don’t often expect them in tony Rittenhouse Square. According to 6ABC, police say that as a group of friends made their way home after Erin Express revelry early Sunday morning, a “deranged” man approached one, asked him if he was a Flyers fan and then pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the stomach. The 24-year-old died after being rushed to the hospital, and the suspect is at large.

In the longstanding rivalry between Philadelphia and its metropolitan neighbor to the north, here’s one for the home team: According to New York Magazine, the best breakfast sandwich in NYC is made by a guy from Northeast Philly.
