How many food trucks operate in Philly? How has that number changed over the past few years? The Department of Licenses and Inspections gave Billy Penn figures showing the active number of Food Establishment, Retail Non-Permanent Location (aka “food truck”) licenses in a given year, going back a decade. Here’s what the data show.
THIS LOCAL FASHION HOUSE JUST LAUNCHED A GENDERLESS CLOTHING LINE
Genderless clothing is the new frontier in fashion. It’s a living, breathing, cat-walking attempt to make stylish clothes for all people — whether they subscribe to the gender binary or not. Last week, with the help of local style icon Ian Michael Crumm, a Philly fashion house introduced a new line of travel attire designed for both men and women.

It's been five years since food trucks started posting up outside the train station, where there are now tables, umbrellas and giant swings. Street Food Philly, Taco Mondo and Say Cheese will be there, plus a DJ spinning tunes.

The pop-up at One Liberty Observation Deck will open every Thursday through Oct. 27 with happy hour specials ($5 beers, $7 wines). You still have to pay (discounted) admission, but the views are probably worth it.
