SIXERS TAKE BEN SIMMONS NO. 1, AS THE FUTURE STARTS NOW
With the first pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Ben Simmons is officially the future of Philadelphia basketball. The Process may have been panned by those put in charge of Sixerville since Sam Hinkie up and left, but make no mistake, that process did create the potential for actual basketball progress. Drafting Simmons isn’t the start of a new era for the 76ers, but merely the latest, and probably the biggest, step in a half-decade long rebuilding process. Here’s more on the guy people are already comparing to LeBron James.
READ CHAKA FATTAH’S I-QUIT-CONGRESS LETTER

Meet the local artists who painted the donkeys and get a preview of what you’ll see on the streets beginning July 1.

NEW RITZ-CARLTON RESTAURANT IS WORTH TRYING
He’s opened 25 restaurants around the world, but Aqimero is Richard Sandoval’s first place in Philly. He’s heard of Garces and Starr, but can’t name any of their restaurants. Oh, and he’s never heard of the Reading Terminal Market. Despite all that, his gorgeous new restaurant in the Ritz-Carlton is something to try, our Danya Henninger writes — it’ll be pricey, but the food, and the decor, are probably worth it.
