One in five Americans alive today wasn’t born on September 11, 2001. The only reason they know about the day the Twin Towers fell and the Pentagon went up in flames is because they read it in history books. And because of the aftermath: The constant, pervasive War on Terror and the tensions it has brought to society.
HOW GOOD ARE THE 2016 EAGLES?
The 2016 Philadelphia Eagles are a professional football team. That much we know. As they gear up to play their first regular season game against the Browns today at 1 p.m. — with a rookie coach and a rookie QB — how well this football team will do is anyone’s guess. But here’s a look at what to expect, from Wentz, Pederson and the rest of the roster.
BEST WEDDING PRESENT: EPIC MAC N CHEESE CAKE
Before the big day, Falynn Koch wanted to do something special for her groom, Tucker Waugh. So, she whipped up a cake for him made out of mac n cheese. Like, actual macaroni and cheese, with Velveeta frosting and cheese puffs for decoration. It turned out even prettier than you’d think.

Bring your pooch out to get pampered with free teeth and ear cleanings and score a free chair massage for yourself. Morris Animal Rescue will be on site with adoptable cuties, just in case you need another best friend.

A live action version of the classic '90s Nickelodeon show. You and your team will adventure through the museum, completing physical and mental challenges and watching out for "temple guards" who might capture you. A cash bar and snacks will sustain you as you go.

A dedication ceremony celebrates an official historical marker for this North Broad complex right next to Temple, which — when it opened in 1968 — was the first African American owned shopping center in the entire US.

The new museum at Third and Chestnut isn't slated to officially open until April, 2017, but the outdoor public plaza is being unveiled this week. RSVP for the free building dedication, which will be to board chairman Gerry Lenfest and his wife Marguerite.

Mark Thompson is the CEO of the New York Times Company. He's also written a book called "What's Gone Wrong with the Language of Politics." He'll talk about everything from FDR and Churchill to Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
