The Philadelphia Orchestra has partnered with Girard College for the third year in a row to present a free Martin Luther King Jr. tribute concert. Can't make it? Listen to WRTI 90.1 FM.

How much: Free but tickets are required
Think of it as the ultimate holiday live band karaoke. People of all ages and skill levels are invited to lend their pipes to songs like Jingle Bells and Silent Night during an hour-long SingIN backed by the string and brass sections of the orchestra. Free with registration.

Got a full-time student ID? That's enough to score you a seat at Verizon Hall to hear the orchestra perform and then attend a post-performance party with free food and drink. Advice from on high: You want to pick up a ticket ASAP.
