Holidays are all about tradition, and that love of classics showed in your votes for during the first round of the the Billy Penn Ultimate Philly Holiday Cookie Bracket.
In most categories, old favorites prevailed, whether they were seeded at the high end (does any cookie stand a chance at knocking off the juggernaut that is Termini Bros. cannoli?) or low end of their field (oh yes, Oteri’s butter cookies rocked Tastykake’s butt). In a few cases, however, hip new hotness won out — Brigantessa and Little Bird, we’re looking at you.
