Our goal is to connect residents — to useful and fun information, and to one another. Our reader-powered nonprofit newsroom covers everything Philly, from breaking news to urban life to food and fun. Through original reporting, curation, and events, we help our community learn from and connect with one another.
Instead of your standard news site, we’re more like a friend who happens to be really knowledgeable about Philadelphia, the greatest city in the world. Founded in 2014 as a startup, in 2019 we joined WHYY, the region’s NPR and PBS public media affiliate.
