If you know anything about Philly’s startup scene, you’ve heard of Bob Moul. He got his start as a high schooler in the mailroom at EDS, and went on to lead multi-million dollar software businesses and raise venture capital for a cloud computing company acquired by Dell. Moul’s next adventure is as CEO of Cloudamize, a cloud infrastructure analytics company based at 17th and Market streets.
Moul has been with Artisan Mobile for the last three and a half years, serving as CEO of the first platform that enabled real-time changes to deployed mobile apps without resubmitting to app stores. The company was acquired by TUNE.
“The Cloudamize value proposition could not be more clear,” Moul said in a statement he released about his new role. “We want to help our customers get the best possible performance for the lowest possible cost, so they can realize the full potential of the cloud.”
Company Founder Khushboo Shah will stay on as chair of the board of directors.
Moul maintains his board roles with Philly Startup Leaders, Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, Philadelphia Alliance of Capital and Technology, Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern PA, Philadelphia Academies Inc. and USA250
