Now that the spring of our discontent has ended and the weather is finally decent, everyone and their cousin has their dog outside with them — especially those of us without central air conditioning.

We wanted to know which places in Philadelphia allow (and encourage!) you to bring your four-legged friend to sit outside and enjoy dinner or a cocktail. Here are 30 of our favorite, by neighborhood:

Devil’s Alley

1907 Chestnut St., Rittenhouse

Dogs are welcome to sit with you outside here, even on busy Chestnut Street.

Doobie’s Bar

2201 Lombard St., Fitler Square

This spot gives *priority* to those with dogs. Expect a treat machine and a water dish!

Fado Irish Pub

1500 Locust St, Center City

Sure, this place is known for a hoppin’ happy hour and a crazy night scene, but it has outdoor seating perfect for bringing along the pet.

More Than Just Ice Cream

1119 Locust St., Center City

This cozy place offers, yes, ice cream as well as other desserts and comfort food. And yes, they’ll provide water for your four-legged friend.

Moriarty’s

1116 Walnut St., Center City

Sit at one of their outdoor tables under an umbrella with your dog and enjoy a plate of their meaty hot wings.

Parc

227 S. 18th St., Rittenhouse

This Starr-owned French bistro has pleeeenty of outdoor seating. After you’re done enjoying wine and charcuterie, take your dog on a walk through Rittenhouse Square.

Rouge

205 S. 18th St., Rittenhouse

People-watch with your dog while you sit outside Rouge and enjoy one of their moderately pricey but delicious burgers.

Square 1682

121 S. 17th St., Rittenhouse

This restaurant in the ritzy part of town has a BYOD (yes, Bring Your Own Dog) brunch event that takes place on the weekends throughout the summer months. Get more details here.

This bar is attached to the Radisson Hotel, but it has an outdoor seating area that’s dog-friendly.

Tria

123 S. 18th St., Rittenhouse (and several other locations)

Small plates and a great wine list are available for the humans along with water dishes for the dogs.

Fairmount

Bishop’s Collar

2349 Fairmount Ave., Fairmount

This Fairmount spot has a pet-friendly outdoor area.

Fishtown/ Northern Liberties

1 Shot Coffee

217 W. George St., Northern Liberties

This hipster coffee shop allows leashed, friendly dogs are allowed in their outdoor dining area.

Bar Ferdinand

1030 N. 2nd St., Northern Liberties

This Spanish tapas and wine bar allows furry friends to sit with their owners in its outside area. They’ll provide the water!

Cantina Dos Segundos

931 N. 2nd St., Northern Liberties

Head over to this Mexican restaurant and bring your dog to sit at one of their outdoor tables. Be sure to check out Yappy Hour when 10 percent of proceeds go to Street Tails Animal Rescue.

El Camino Real

1040 N. 2nd St., Northern Liberties

This Tex-Mex restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating where you can bring your pooch.

Interstate Draft House

1235 E. Palmer St., Fishtown

This place has a unique, kind of Creole menu and a solid beer selection, but the best part is its outdoor patio. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Kraftwork

541 E. Girard Ave., Fishtown

Bring along your pooch while you sit outside this bar on Girard Avenue. Enjoy a craft beer and a burger while your dog has a dish of ice water.

The Abbaye

637 N. 3rd St., Northern Liberties

Sure, you can’t play the Abbaye’s trivia from outside, but you can bring along the dog and relax with a drink at one of their outdoor tables.

Old City

Amada

217-219 Chestnut St., Old City

This is Chef Jose Garces’ flagship restaurant, and dogs are allowed in the outside area on a first-come, first-served basis.

City Tavern

138 S. 2nd St., Old City

Bring along Fido to enjoy this colonial tavern and relax outside — as long as he’s well-behaved!

Northwest Philly

Wood-oven pizza and rustic Italian food meets pet-friendly at this East Falls location.

Jake’s and Cooper’s Wine Bar

4365 Main St., Manayunk

Come here for wine, fancy pizza and an outdoor space that’s totally dog-friendly.

South Philly

Bridget Foy’s

200 South St., Headhouse Square

This South Street spot that’s kinda South Philly, kinda Society Hill has traditional American fare and dogs are welcome in its outdoor patio area.

Cantina Los Caballitos

1651 East Passyunk Ave., East Passyunk

They’ll provide the drinking water if you provide the dog. And be sure to follow them on Instagram for pics of dogs enjoying the spot.

Izumi

This sushi and small plates restaurant in South Philly has outdoor seating perfect for bringing along the dog(s).

Le Virtu

Dogs are always welcome on the patio and in the garden at Le Virtu (and they have been since 2007!)

P’unk Burger

Sit outside with the dog while you enjoy one of the city’s most unique burgers.

Taproom on 19th

This South Philly gastropub has a great beer selection and outdoor seating with water dishes available for your dog.

West Philly

Dock Street Brewing Co.

701 S. 50th St., Cedar Park

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables set up at this converted firehouse with a selection of beers brewed right on site.

White Dog

3420 Sansom St., University City

With a name that has “dog” in it, this place basically has to be pet-friendly. Bring your four-legged friend to the outdoor patio.
