South Philly graffiti upgrade: Buckminster’s becomes ‘F**khipster’s’

New owner Ori Feibush confirms he’ll paint over the latest defacing.

The graffiti adorning the shuttered Point Breeze restaurant Buckminster’s has come full circle.

A few weeks ago, someone tagged the restaurant to make it say Fuckminster’s on the outside. Now? Oh, now we have this:

Buckminster’s was a gastropub restaurant located at 21st and Federal that opened last November and stayed around for only about six months. After it closed in June, developer Ori Feibush bought the property. He and his fiancee plan to start a new restaurant.

Needless to say, it won’t be called Fuckhipster’s.

“It’s a vacant building and prone to graffiti,” Feibush said in an email. “Of course we will paint over it before we open.”
