The best way to avoid Philadelphia’s new tax is simple: Don’t drink sugar sweetened beverages at all.

But where’s the fun in that?

We at Billy Penn came up with some… creative solutions in case you’re really averse to paying a 1.5-cent-per-ounce tax on sodas, sugary fruit juices and other items now taxed within city limits. (Please keep in mind that some of these things should probably not be consumed as shown.)
