If free tacos and burritos had been part of his eternal Groundhog Day, would Bill Murray’s character have been in such a rush to escape?

In honor of the 1993 classic movie — and the one holiday our state can truly lay claim to — Union Taco is putting your taqueria order on repeat.

Stop into either the Manayunk or Flourtown location of chef Nick Farina’s BYOB on Thursday, Feb. 2 for lunch or dinner. Save your receipt, because when you bring it back in next week (on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, Feb. 7-9), the kitchen will replicate your exact meal and give it to you for free.

Here’s a tip: Best to bring friends along.

Because if your Groundhog Day order is five fish tacos, three pork cheek tacos, two marinated flank steak burritos, three short rib tortas, two poblano chicken salads and a cinnamon vanilla churro milkshake — that’s exactly what you’ll get at no charge when you return the following week.

Or you could channel Murray’s Phil Connors during one of his earlier, hedonistic loops, before he’s learned his lesson and is taking full advantage of life without repercussions, and chow down the whole feast yourself.

Just make sure you watch that first step. It’s a doozie.
