In the battle of pizza-eating rodents, Philly now has a worthy contestant against New York.

Meet Pizza Squirrel.

Kathy Rockwell stumbled upon it in the 1600 block of Ritner Street in South Philly just last week. The squirrel was just resting on top of a fence, holding a piece of plain pizza nearly as large as its body.

Pizza Rat went viral about two years ago after it pulled a slice of pizza down the stairs of a New York City subway station.

But, clearly, Philadelphia’s Pizza Squirrel is superior.
