Philadelphia Parking Authority board chairman Joseph Ashdale has filed a defamation suit against the Daily News for a cover story image published late last year, according to Law360. The cover (featuring Santa and a bag of money) portrayed Ashdale’s photo in a way that he says made readers think he’s former PPA Executive Director Vince Fenerty, who resigned from his role at the agency after a sexual harassment scandal last year.
