From Philly PR Girl:

Kids At Play, a state-of-the-art indoor playground facility and therapy center, opened its doors in East Falls two years ago. Kids At Play is an indoor playground specializing in helping children reach their fullest potential by doing what children love to do most, play! With a zip line, interactive virtual playground, toddler area, ball pits and entertaining swings and slides, Kids At Play is one of the most fun places for kids of any age.

To celebrate Kids At Play is throwing a Birthday Bash on Sunday Jan. 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are required and will give you access to Kids At Play for the day, a meet-n-greet with a surprise guest character, a magic show, face painting, balloon animals, cupcakes, refreshments, and goodie bags for all guests. Anyone who does not have a ticket may be able to purchase a ticket at the door for $15 per child and $4 per adult (depending on capacity limits).

The staff of Kids At Play believe in the importance of kids being kids by playing but also the importance of providing pediatric therapy in an environment a child is most comfortable in, understanding that kids learn most effectively through play. Director Julia Bookbinder was struck by the fact services are too often provided in a sterile, clinical setting rather than a fun, playful environment. Recently Kids at Play announced they are now accepting insurance for Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy!

“Kids at Play was born from a desire to create a community center for families with children of ALL abilities! We saw a need for a safe, clean, fun place for families to gather, learn and grow together. With our Open Play, classes, parties and therapies, we want to create an environment where parents are gaining resources and children are building skills and friendships. Over the past two years we have welcomed almost 11,000 children through our doors! We are so thankful and want to celebrate with everyone who helps make us a success – the families!”

In addition to therapy services, KAP provides learning opportunities during Open Play in their sensory gym for babies to children up to 12 years old to use and explore. The KAP gym has a zip line, ball pits, archery, and more! Kids at Play has a designated toddler area, as well as a parent lounge with free WiFi, and offers several different birthday packages.

They’re open to the public Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. KAP also offer monthly and annual memberships that allow children to participate in Open Play on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Special Saturday hours, Monday through Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Membership includes perks such as 10 percent discounts on class rates and birthday party packages.
