Billy Penn Philly Quizzo

QUIZ: How well do you know Eagles pop culture?

We infused our monthly Quizzo night with Philly football trivia.

This month, we took Billy Penn Philly Quizzo in a different direction. In honor of football season, we sent our trivia to the Birds.

When we hosted the free event at the uCity PHS Pop Up garden on Aug. 16, instead of our usual questions, everything had an Eagles angle. The quiz was still broken up into three rounds — past, present and future — but each one had some kind of tie-in to the championship franchise.

We’re not talking about the kind of questions only super sports nerds can answer (bless ’em). They were more about the Eagles and pop culture.

On Thursday night, more than 50 people competed across 11 different teams. “Trauma Drama” came out on top, and was rewarded with two seriously sweet VIP tickets to the inaugural Keystone Comic Con ($570 value!). Second-place winners “The Minnesota Justin Timberwolves” walked away with a gift certificate to Pistola’s restaurants, and third-place winners “Trash Monsters” walked out with a signed Batman poster.

Also, everyone scored a ton of swag from sponsors GoPhillyGo and the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House (whose founder used to be general manager for the Eagles).

Now, we put the questions to you in an online quiz.

Without using Google, can you beat the high score of 18 out of 24?

Pick your the answers in the three sections below, then click “Submit” and scroll up to “View Score” to see how you did.
