How well do you keep up with everything Philadelphia? That’s what we test — in the most fun way — at our monthly Billy Penn Philly Quizzo nights.
On Tuesday evening, we did it again. Billy Penn took over Pistola’s Del Sur on East Passyunk to eat delicious tacos and figure out just how well our readers know this city. More than 50 people showed up to play and split into 13 groups to answer three rounds of questions: Philly Past, Philly Present and Philly Future
Big congrats to Team Milton Streets Department, who emerged victorious. For their extensive local knowledge, they were rewarded with a gift card redeemable at any Pistola’s establishment — Jose Pistola’s, Sancho Pistola’s or Pistola’s Del Sur — all known for their creative takes on Mexican cuisine.
In second place was Team Weird and Gilly. This time, we also recognized Team Glittered Sombrero for the creative name. We rewarded both teams with Pistola’s t-shirts.
A shoutout is also in order to team Buhs-Ins, who came in third place on Tuesday evening — the same duo took first place in October.
