How well do you keep up with everything Philadelphia? That’s what we test — in the most fun way — at our monthly Billy Penn Philly Quizzo nights.
On Tuesday evening, we did it again, with a holiday twist. Billy Penn took over Pistola’s Del Sur on East Passyunk to eat delicious tacos and find out just how well our readers know this city — especially its winter season traditions.
We also had a special guest: Real Philly Santa (aka Rick Modglin), who comes complete with a real fluffy white beard, real round belly and giant jolly attitude.
Several dozen people showed up to play and split into to answer three rounds of festive questions: Philly Past, Philly Present and Philly Future.
Big congrats to Team Phila-Madelphians, who emerged victorious and were rewarded with a gift card redeemable at any Pistola’s establishment — Jose Pistola’s, Sancho Pistola’s or Pistola’s Del Sur.
