‘Twas the week before Labor Day, and throughout Philly’s core, not many were stirring — they’d all gone down the shore.
Our August edition of Philly Quizzo started out slow, not gonna lie.
But by the time we kicked things off, we had nine different teams competing for prizes at Pistolas Del Sur on East Passyunk.
We’ve been hosting the locally-themed trivia night at bars all over the city for more than a year now. Teams join for free to answer questions split into three rounds: Philly Past, Philly Present and Philly Future.
Last week, in between platters of nachos and shots of mezcal, the folks enjoying the unofficial end of the summer season with us showed off their local knowledge, with several teams remaining in contention through the bonus music round. The first place winners scored a $50 Pistolas gift certificate, and the runners up got a round of beer on the house.
