Philadelphia is called “America’s best beer-drinking city,” and it’s full of folks who know their suds.

The ninth edition of virtual Billy Penn Philly Quizzo took place July 29, with more than 85 people joining on Zoom to test their local knowledge about all things beer and brewing.

We partnered with Philly Loves Beer, and the nonprofit behind Philly Beer Week provided lots of prizes. The team that won each round scored a free t-shirt — and since we had quite a few beer-savvy folks at the event, we needed several tie-breaker lightning questions to decide. The grand prize was a $50 gift card to Pistolas restaurants (Jose Pistola’s, Sancho Pistola’s, Pistolas Del Sur).

Big congrats to overall winner “Beer Law,” who typed in the final tie-breaking answer quickest, beating out other top teams “I Need Beer (and Nacho) Money” and “The Holiday Armadillos.”

Now it’s your turn. Without using Google, can you beat their high score of 21/24?

To play, pick your the answers in the “Past,” “Present” and “Future” sections below, then click “Submit” and scroll up to “View Score” to see how you did. If the form below doesn’t work for you, access it here.

👉 Free RSVP here for the next Philly Quizzo at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12
