Summertime trivia just hits different. On the summer solstice, Billy Penn welcomed three dozen people to play BP Quizzo live and in person at Tavern on the Hill.

If you’ve never been, the small pub is somehow cozy and airy at the same time. It’s sometimes eclipsed by McNally’s right next door, but it’s just as much a valid Chestnut Hill destination. The bar and petite dining room serve old-school sandwiches and tavern fare, plus a full complement of martinis and local brew.

Quizzo players broke into 10 teams to answer co-hosts Sakeenah Benjamin and Danya Henninger’s questions about Philly news and history.

Teams were vying for a top prize of a $50 gift card, a second place prize of $25, and a trophy bag containing a shirt and two bottles of wine for best name — which went to team “Solstice on the Hill.” The runners up were named “Always the Hardest Part,” while the overall winners were team “Joe Biden’s Bike Shop.”

Now it’s your turn. Without using Google, can you beat their high score of 18/24?

To play, pick your answers in the “Past,” “Present” and “Future” sections below, then click “Submit” and scroll up to hit “View Score” and see how you did. (That’s where you’ll see the correct answers, too.)
