Keep the festive spirit in Philly by shopping local this holiday season! After all, there are plenty of opportunities to find unique and fun gifts for all ages at one of the pop-up and monthlong holiday markets around the city. We’ll keep updating this list as we come across new listings; let us know if we missed any!

Upcoming Pop-Up Holiday Markets

🧊 Saturday, Dec. 14: Fishtown Freeze

The annual Fishtown Freeze ice sculpture event and holiday shopping extravaganza returns for a sixth year of custom-designed ice sculptures, outdoor pop-up markets, photos with Santa at Frankford Hall — and a free trolley up and down Frankford Avenue! FREE. (12 to 8 p.m.) 

🍪 Saturday, Dec. 14: Second Saturday in Brewerytown

Stop by the Holiday Market to shop from a stacked lineup of local vendors. Then, walk Girard Avenue for specials and deals from community businesses, including $8 caramel chocolate eclair apples and $5 cookie-decorating kits! (12 to 4 p.m.)

🍲 Saturday, Dec. 14: Holidays in the Park: Winter around the World

Enjoy a Family Free Day in partnership with the Vendors Association of FDR Park. The popular Southeast Asian Market comes to Lemon Hill for this one-day event, complete with a visit from Santa Claus (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and cooking demos throughout the day to celebrate the region’s food and culture.

🎨 Saturday, Dec. 14: Made @ Bok Winter Market

The West Gym of the former school-turned-makerspace in East Passyunk brims with wares from dozens of artists and designers, everything from sustainable fashion and hand-blown glass to fine-crafted jewelry. (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

📷 Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 14-15: 2nd annual Northern Liberties Holiday Shopping Stroll & Vendor Market

It’s a neighborhood-wide winter market — but gamified! Start your trip at the former Heritage building (914 N. 2nd St) to pick up a punch card, then visit some of the 20+ participating businesses on your shopping journey. One visit = 1 punch, no purchase necessary. Spend over $20 to get 2 punches. Collect 6 punches or spend $100 and submit your punch card for a chance to win one of three grand prizes. Also on hand: family activities and photos with Santa at Laser Philly’s Winter Wonderland.

🧑🏼‍🎨 Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 14-15: West Craft Fest, Holiday Edition

Head to The Rotunda (4014 Walnut St.) in West Philly for handmade holiday gifts of artisan jewelry, hand knits, ceramics, homewares, art, ornaments, candles, calendars and more — from more than 120 vendors! Saturday and Sunday feature a different set of 60+ vendors each day. (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

🛍️ Sunday, Dec. 15: Holiday Souk at Al-Bustan

A souk is a traditional market or bazaar commonly found in Middle Eastern and North African countries. Get your holiday gifts from Al-Bustan’s inaugural souk in Olde Kensington, featuring local artists and makers! (12 to 5 p.m.)

🎉 Sunday, Dec. 15: Festively Fly Holiday Market 2024

Live music, a 30 degree pose machine, and dozens of Black-owned brands to support, all in one spot in Callowhill. $15 tickets or 2 for $20. (12 to 8 p.m.)

✊🏼 Friday-Sunday, Dec. 20-22: Punk Rock Holiday Flea Market Night Market at 23rd Street Armory

Friday: 4 to 10 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Procrastinators, never fear, as the 23rd Street Armory hosts this popular alternative market right before Christmas and Hanukkah. Vintage clothing and concert tees, vinyl records, crafts, art, posters and plenty of “old punk junk” abound. $10 entry fee (kids 12 and under are free) lasts all weekend! Each day features new vendors.

Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market at Dilworth Park

Southwest side of City Hall, 1 S. 15th St.
Daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. (M-Th) and 9 p.m. (Fri-Sat) through Jan. 1

Ice skating, hot beverages, festive cheer and holiday-inspired goods and gifts abound throughout the winding paths of vendor tents at City Hall’s Dilworth Park. 40+ local vendors sell handmade crafts, jewelry, treats and more from wooden booths decked in white (the event’s signature color) and topped with glowing Moravian stars. After the market, walk through City Hall to ride the carousel and browse more shops before hitting the Ferris wheel and holiday tree on the North side!

Christmas Village at LOVE Park and City Hall

16th St. and JFK Blvd.
Daily through Dec. 24

This open-air Bavarian holiday marketplace Christmas Village transforms LOVE Park, featuring 120 vendors offering gifts, ornaments, accessories and wintry apparel, along with tasty treats like raclette sandwiches, spiced wine, apple cider, strudels and more. Across the street at City Hall, find more vendors, plus a double-decker carousel and a 65-foot Ferris wheel, kids train and Philly’s official holiday tree along the building’s north apron.

Holiday Markets at Cherry Street Pier

Saturdays, through Dec. 21

Both traditional and singular holiday market items celebrating Latin arts and culture, plus pay-as-you-go food and drink, with featured vendors being small, minority-owned businesses. Cherry Street Pier partners with Fleisher Art Memorial’s El Mercado Cultural for these four markets.

The 31st season of festivities on the Delaware waterfront includes the free NHL-sized ice skating rink, signature holiday tree, 60-foot-tall illuminated Ferris wheel, boardwalk, seasonal treats and shopping. Winterfest Holiday Markets are open for three consecutive Sunday afternoons in December, featuring a variety of vendors offering crafts and gifts for everyone on your list.

Through Dec. 21 (trolley) and Dec. 31 (lights): Manayunk Gets Lit & Jolly Trolley

Main Street, Manayunk
5 to 9 p.m. nightly

More than 50 Main Street businesses decorate their storefronts with holiday lights, thanks to the Manayunk Development Corp. The festively decorated Jolly Trolley will run up and down Main Street, making stops at local businesses while holiday movies/music plays. Secret Santa will give away swag bags and prizes during select weekends.
