Would you like to sniff some glue? Perhaps, for the second time? Well, then there’s a perfect Philadelphia event for you this weekend!
Tattooed Mom’s biannual international wheatpaste art show, “Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue 2” is back this Friday and Saturday. The bar is throwing the event on their second floor with artist Doomed Future, a lead creative in Philly’s Step Outside shows.
“This is the second edition of ‘Now I Want to Sniff Some Glue,’” explained Robert Perry, owner of Tattooed Mom. “The first edition was done in 2024.”

The show will include wheatpaste art from over 200 artists from 15 different countries.
“Most gallery shows you go to will have a white wall, and they’ll show you something in a frame, or maybe even one wall that’s sort of like collaged with artwork,” Perry said. “This is all encompassing, all immersive — and just everywhere you look, there’s going to be fresh paste, fresh art from both Philly artists and from artists all over the world.”
The show’s formal two-day run will include an opening night party Friday and artist talk with artists Inphltrate, Sean 9 Lugo and Marti Flicker hosted by Street Dept’s Eric Dale at 2 p.m. on Saturday. There will also be limited edition merch, as well as a specialty cocktail, called “The Paste Up” with banana liquor, rum, tahini, orgeat and lime juice.

“It looks really gross,” Perry laughed. “It looks like a glass of glue, but it tastes really yummy.”
Doomed Future and Lugo have created an interactive wall at the show for visitors to come in, dabble and create their own wheatpastes. Perry called the art form “democratic” in that anyone, even those inexperienced, can get into the medium.
“Really, wheatpaste art is one of those art forms that precedes people even calling something street art,” he said. “Anybody can do it. If you have a piece of paper, some flour, and some water, and either a brush or a roller, or even just use your hands, you can put up a piece of art.”
Tattooed Mom has always been a welcome space to Philly creatives, and “Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue” is part of their continued effort to keep the city’s art scene accessible. Their show, “Characters Welcome,” which platforms sticker art, has had nine previous shows.

“I really love, admire and have so much respect for the people that do wheatpaste art all over the world. It’s a form of self-expression,” Perry said. “It can be a form of information exchange. It can be a form of protest. It can be a form of so many things.”
Even though the show’s formal run is two days, the bar’s artwork is ever evolving and will be up beyond this weekend.
“I hope that it allows the community a chance to participate in this celebration and this sort of spotlight, to share their work,” Perry said, “to exchange ideas with other artists, to meet and connect with people who are making wheat paste art.”
